Autodesk / App Distribution Platform

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project goal for MyDesk was to create one place for employees around the world to access all IT-related information and processes through a desktop and mobile website. One section of the site is an internal app distribution platform where employees can download corporate and individually licensed software. The site’s back-end system was integrated with Akamai Technologies’ cloud services and also included an administrator tool where IT specialist could add and remove applications. As the UX lead, I consulted with the product owner to deliver a site map, user task flows, and responsive wireframes for the distribution platform and admin tool.

For this project, we followed Agile scrum methodologies. The team welcomed summer interns who were new to scrum, and I mentored them on how to implement Agile practices. I helped strengthen communication within the team and increase the quality of the product.
