California Dreamin' - Part Dos

As I mentioned in my last post, Jerry and I traveled to the US to visit family over Christmas break.  After spending a few days in Ontario/LA, we headed north to Santa Barbara.  By the time we got to Santa Barbara, I was kinda tired of taking photos, so here's a few from a walk around the waterfront.

California Dreamin' - Part Uno

Over the Christmas break, my hubby (Jerry) and I traveled to the US to visit family.  We spent a few days in Ontario, California with Jerry's dad, sister, and nephew.  We drove out to Huntington Beach for a day.  I took my camera along and found some bright California colors.

Casa Batllo

Last December, I visited Barcelona where I was inspired by one of my favorite artists, Antoni Gaudi.  I went to Casa Batllo, an apartment building that Gaudi restored in the style of Art Nouveau.  I took over 100 photos in about 2.5 hours.

Fruit and Fishmongers

In mid December, I went to Barcelona for a few days. I went to the market of St. Joseph de la Boqueria, or simply La Boqueria.  I had a wonderful lunch of seafood paella, a mango coconut  smoothie, and tangy red licorice for dessert. So good! After lunch, I wondered around the market and took some photos.

Staring at the World from My Home, Little Idaho

I went home to Idaho for Christmas this year.  On Christmas Eve, my dad and I went out to Kelly Park to groom the cross-country ski trails.  I snapped a couple landscapes from the snowmobile and from the skis.  On Christmas Day, I woke up to an amazing sunrise and a brutally cold wind.  Oh, and Santa found his way to Idaho and left me some camera equipment, a digital photo frame, and an iPad with a camera connection kit. Sweet!
